Maria graduated from Framingham State University in 2007 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Design & Retailing and a concentration in Merchandising. Throughout her college years, Maria worked at Yolanda’s, a high end bridal boutique, as a bridesmaid consultant. It was while working at Yolanda’s that she realized she had a passion for planning weddings and events. After moving to California for three years, Maria found her way back to the east coast and landed in the event planning world. Since 2010, she has happily been a part of the Janie Haas Events family! Maria is now a Senior Event Manager at the company and has exceptional organizational skills along with a great eye for the latest trends and styles. As a newlywed herself and having gone through the experience of planning her own wedding, Maria has a new found respect and outlook for the process and can relate to the angst that most brides feel-giving them true piece of mind.
Diana is an event producer with over ten years of experience in the event planning industry. Diana graduated from Penn State University in 2006 where she majored in Hospitality with a minor in Event Planning. Prior to joining the Janie Haas Events team, Diana worked for a number of years in Boston, New York City, and Colorado running high-end Social, Fundraising Galas and Corporate affairs. This experience exposed Diana to an endless variety of art, culture, and diversity which has contributed to her impeccable taste and flair for the non-ordinary. Her upbeat attitude, attention to detail and ability to organize all aspects of a function have resulted in hundreds of successful events over the years. Her extensive knowledge of vendor resources allows her to find the best of everything available! She is a very outside the box thinker and will always go above and beyond the expected call of duty.
My name is Brady and I am the oldest member of the Janie Haas Event Team. Most days, you will find me under Janie’s desk so, while I have been here the longest, I may also be the most knowledgeable as I see and hear everything. It’s a good thing that I can’t speak!!

My name is Roxi and I joined the Janie Haas Events team about a year and a half ago when I was adopted from an animal hospital. I spend my days going from office to office trying to engage anyone who will notice me! My particular passion is in the event details like the props…love this wagon!
Janie Haas, the founder and president of Janie Haas Events, has been in the event planning industry for over thirty years. Janie’s events are exclusively branded with exquisite attention to every detail. Janie has a wonderful working knowledge of, and professional relationship with, many of Boston’s top vendors which enables her to choose the appropriate team of vendors needed to make each event unique.
Janie is a graduate of Simmons College and has a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from Boston College. She resides in North Andover with her husband, 4 children and two dogs who join her wonderful staff in the office every day! “There aren’t many people who, after 35 years, still love what they do, but I am lucky to be one of them,” says Janie Haas. She still loves planning parties and hopes that it shows in her work!
